Winnipeg-based TEN acquires The Business Calendar
Winnipeg's premier source of business events gets a new look, new ownership
WINNIPEG, MB - Founded in 2014 by Nancy Zubriski, The Business Calendar has featured over 4,000 Manitoba-based events averaging upwards of 10,000 monthly page visits, and continues to be the premier source of events from across all associations, industries and cities.
"We always used The Business Calendar when planning our executive networking events," says Glen Buhler, President & Founder of Today's Executive Network Inc (TEN) - who acquired The Business Calendar on November 1, 2017.
"As an event planner, relied on a single view of all of the different events happening on a given night, as to avoid a significant conflict. And as we began to explore the calendar, we found just how powerful it was to to discover events that myself and my team could attend."
"TEN has always been known for some of the most unique and effective executive networking events, but as we transition into additional programs, moving our annual number of events from 20-28 to 11-12, helping promote other exceptional business events to our approximately 2,000 members via The Business Calendar just made sense," Buhler explains.
"I'm very excited for the future of The Business Calendar. Today's Executive Network is ideally placed to take The Business Calendar forward to grow and thrive. I wish them every success," says Nancy Zubriski.
